Hey, I’m Sammi — the proud owner of @handpaintedbysammi, based in Maple Grove, MN. I’m a hairstylist with 10 years of experience specializing in lived-in looks, custom color, and hair extensions. But beyond the services I offer, I’m all about creating a space where people feel seen, safe, and celebrated. As an openly gay hairstylist, authenticity and connection are everything to me. I’m here to empower you to feel like the best version of yourself — inside and out. I believe hair is more than just hair; it’s self-expression, self-care, and a way to step into your confidence. The art of hairstyling and hair coloring has always been deeply therapeutic for me, and I’m honored to turn that passion into something that helps others feel amazing, too. Hair health is a huge priority in my chair. I’ll never sacrifice the integrity of your hair for a quick fix — we’ll work together to create something beautiful and sustainable. I’m also a big believer in mental health and work-life balance. You deserve to feel good, in every way. Outside the salon, I’m a mom, an outdoor lover, a coffee enthusiast, and a sunshine chaser. I’ve been with my incredible fiancée for 6 years, and when I’m not creating behind the chair, I’m probably hiking, exploring new food spots, or spending time with my favorite people.
